From the Pit Bull Terrier in him, you also get a devoted family companion, and you get a canine who is remarkably sincere and warmhearted, extremely eager to please, if not sleeping then brimming over with enthusiasm, and having both, a zest for life and a genuine love of people. Add attributes of being active, athletic, courageous, loyal, intelligent, sometimes serious, and frequently goofy and you get an outstanding companion for a responsible and caring family that appreciates an always obedient, very people-pleasing and well-behaved total package canine. A happy, confident, and very affectionate canine who loves to play, Parker is best suited for a home with a moderately-active to active lifestyle. Parker's exercise needs are moderate and can be met with leisurely walks on a leash and daily play sessions with family members. A meet-n-greet with any household pets will be a must prior to adoption. Note: MSPCA rescued this "diamond in the rough" from the Monroe County Animal Control (MCAC). An injured, insecure, stressed, and extremely frantic dog when we first met him in the facility, Parker immediately showed himself to be a sweet and loving boy as soon as we opened the kennel door.
