Definitely liking attention, she will readily approach people to give and receive affection when she feels comfortable and with a few soft-spoken words of encouragement she can become quite talkative. Heather is social and friendly with people and cats she is familiar with, and although comfortable and at-ease with housemate canines in general, she can be selectively-tolerant when directly interacting with highly active or unruly dogs and dogs she isn't familiar with. A committed snuggler who likes interactive play and close contact with humans (mostly on her terms), Heather expresses great appreciation when having her coat brushed and she loses all inhibition when the petting begins. Heather is an ideal companion for a family with other well-mannered, adult housemate pets, canine and/or feline. She will do well in just about any home environment so long as she is embraced as a much-loved, lifelong feline family member who is included in daily activities and who is allowed to establish reasonable boundaries with other housemate pets.
