American Staffordshire Terrier - Daisy - Large - Young - Female
Must love lots of kisses! Daisy loves belly rubs, head rubs, any type of affection. She wants to be near you and let you know she loves you. Everyone who spends any amount of time with Daisy--falls in love. She has won over the vets, vet techs, HSMC staff (especially the Director) and our volunteers. Surprisingly, she has not found a forever home. Daisy is just over a year old and has had quite a life. She came from an abuse/neglect situation. She was delivered to another shelter with with broken teeth, bleeding paws, skin and ear infections. They treated her and released her to us, due to Daisy's fear of other animals and loud noises. We believe with her scars, she may have been a bait dog. However much this girl has gone through, she still shines her beautiful smile for all of us to see. You can feel her love, her zest for life and gratitude for being rescued. Daisy is under treatment for skin issues. It is thought that she may have an autoimmune disorder and has been to the vet several times. We are paying to get to the root of the cause because she is so dear to us. Whoever is given the opportunity to have this girl as their forever best friend is one of the luckiest people in the world. She is pure love in its truest form. She is an angel.
